Monterey bay Consulting Group

We have observed that most business owners/managers routinely make the very best decisions about their business that they are able to make with the experience and information at their disposal. Sadly, in many settings the experience and information are too limited to see the probable impact these decisions will make in the operation of their firm. Having relevant counsel from professionals who have real hands on experience can often strengthen the decision process of most business owners. Don't limit the future of your business.

The Monterey bay Consulting Group grew out of the experience of working in the San Francisco consulting practice of what is now KPMG (Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co). After three years with that firm I became aware that I could not accept consulting assignments with small companies. The fee structure made such assignments prohibative. I had been working with a small commercial motion picture company and decided I would rather help companies in need than to continue with a career in the international consulting arena. The launch of MbCG allowed for a wide variety of consulting opportunities and the ability to tailor each engagement to the unique needs of that client.

Professionals

The professionals of the MbCG are all experienced consultants. We have been trained by some of the finest international consulting firms: KPMG, McKinsey & Co, Booz-Allen-Hamilton, Price Waterhouse. Each professional operates as his/her own independent consultant. As such, engagement fees are not shared in support of other practice expenses. Our professionals have all served in the senior executive role of an operating company in the size range $10 - 50 million sales volume for at least five years. And each professional has launched a new enterprise other than their consulting practice. The complex of these experiences make the professionals of the Monterey bay Consulting Group uniquely qualified to help the owners/managers of small companies to get through the most difficult of business challenges.
